After serving the army (1990) I started as an entrepreneur in the shoe business. Five years later I started working as an administrator at an insurance company called Interpolis. Later I worked as an software tester and projectmanager in several projects. Important part of this work was to identify software errors and develop and implement sustainable solutions. All this in a close collaboration with collegues. In this period I started to study law at the Open University. In 2005 I started as a clerk at the Supreme Court of Justice in The Hague; at first for the Criminal Law Section, after a few years for the Civil Law Section. Since 2013 I’m working as a lawyer; at first in a partnership called BIZ Advocaten, but now independent. My office is based in Waalwijk (south of the Netherlands).
